Stratford Hall's Teacher Seminar

The Stratford Hall Teachers Seminar is an annual 3-day seminar for K-12 history educators and includes accommodation at Stratford Hall and travel study to important historic sites like historic Jamestowne, Patrick Henry’s Scotchtown, and elsewhere. Our partnership with Preservation Virginia opens even more exciting historic sites and instructional resources to our participants.

Stratford Hall invites rising and established scholars to share  their expertise with participants on a range of topics from slavery to early American religious life and spirituality.

Teacher Specialists help participants to translate and operationalize seminar insights for k-12 classrooms.
