Lee Family Digital Archive

The Lee Family Digital Archive (LFDA) is an online repository of the collected papers of the Lee Family of Virginia. This rich documentary legacy, spanning roughly the first three centuries of American history (from c.1640 to c.1920), is offered to the public free of charge for research and teaching purposes. The LFDA is a working digital archive, and thus changes often. The most important part of its mission is to provide digital preservation and access to the papers of the Lee Family of Virginia.
